What this preparation is for
Yacht 4 is where engineering responsibility on a yacht becomes formal. The oral concentrates on duty: who has it, how it is handed over, and what you are accountable for while you hold it.
This course rehearses that scope in oral format — UMS duty, bridge-control duty, the handover itself and the watch safety expectations that sit underneath it.
It is preparation for the MCA oral examination, which is conducted and controlled by the MCA.
