The maritime industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation with the rise of MASS (Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships). As autonomous shipping becomes a reality, qualified USV operators are in high demand to manage these vessels from shore-based Remote Operations Centres.
Our USV Pilot training programme prepares you for this new era of maritime operations. Unlike traditional seafaring roles, autonomous ship operators work from state-of-the-art facilities, using advanced multi-sensor displays to navigate and control vessels remotely.
Master the art of navigating USVs using multi-sensor displays including cameras, radar, AIS, and environmental data.
Comprehensive training in handling emergency situations and system failures.
Hands-on simulator training in realistic ROC environments delivered online.
Assessment covers remote navigation, safe manoeuvring, alarm handling, bandwidth/latency management, and emergency response.
